Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathoway taking the Anorexic Train....
post 2/5/07
I'm all for celebrities talking about their personal problems in order to help raise awareness, but when you open
up about dealing with depression and anorexia now... when everyone is crying out Anorexia like a witch hunt or
something... I feel kinda pissed off when someone like Anne comes out. It seems as is she is just saying this now
to have a nice pull-quote in the magazine interview to promote her new movie. Well, that is how it looks... kinda..
In People she talks about her self in the third person and it is a little weird...
People is reporting that Anne Hathaway spoke to Tatler Magazine about her battle with depression and anorexia
in her teen years, but said she overcame her troubles without the use of medication.
"I said to Mom the other day, 'Do you remember that girl? She has now gone, gone to sleep. She has said her
piece and she is gone,'" Hathaway, 24, tells Britain's Tatler magazine. "But then I thought, 'I so remember her,
only she is no longer part of me.'"
She continues, "I am sorry she was hurting for so long. It's all so negatively narcissistic to be so consumed with
self."
Listen, that's great and all for Anne Hathaway, but it all seems a little bit disingenuous to me...

English Accent Exhausted Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway was left "exhausted" on the set of upcoming Jane Austen biopic "Becoming Jane," after being surprised by how much energy
was required to perfect an English accent. The 24-year-old actress, who recently starred alongside Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada,
admits playing Austen in the cold British climate proved tougher than she had anticipated.
She says, "I've never been so exhausted as when I finished the movie. It took me about two months to regain my strength. When it's cold it
makes you very tight which can make your voice sound higher, and I started to sound a bit too much like myself and not at all like Jane. And
after all that - pardon my French - f-ing accent work, about 80 percent of the dialogue in the film was unusable."
Havoc, starring Anne Hathaway and Bijou Phillips comes out on DVD November
29. That really feels like a long way off right now. You can check out the DVD
cover, or you can check out the videos below. Of course, these clips are only
meant to encourage you to buy the DVD when it comes out. Stealing movies is
bad.
Don't look for the new poster for Hostel II at your local cinema, or bus stop
shelter, because it probably won't be there. The reason for that, of course,
is that it features Bijou Phillips nude, holding her own head.
But really, this is a pretty cool poster! She is in Havoc with Anne.........
