#2 Kate Winslet’s Facial Analysis Diet
In a world where very few things are new, this is pretty ingenious! An analysis is
carried out based on the lines, tone, and texture of the face in order to determine
dietary and mineral needs, deficiencies and intolerances. Once your facial type
has been identified, you can begin one of 9 prescribed eating plans. I love this for
it’s sheer innovation, but it is completely stupid!
Instructions
Step 1The first step you'll need to take will be to determine your face type. In her
book, The Facial Analysis Diet, Gibaud says there are six face archetypes that most
people fall under. With each face type there is also a list of foods to avoid and to
eat frequently. That's it; the key to the facial analysis diet. Just modify your diet
based on your face type and you should see results in no time. Use the following
steps/guide to determine your face type and what foods you should avoid and eat.

Step 2Facial Analysis Diet TYPE A: Ruled by the thyroid gland. Dry skin, shiny nose,
dull, fluffy hair, bulging eyes, cold hands and feet.

Foods to avoid: Yeast products, chocolate, red wine, white flour, mango.

Foods to eat: Apples, asparagus, oats, potatoes, cucumber.

Step 3Facial Analysis Diet TYPE B: Ruled by the liver. Yellow hue to skin, especially
around the mouth, blue-ish or reddish nose, thick, furry tongue, red ears.
Sufferers experience lack of motivation and concentration, and nausea.

Avoid: Alcohol, coffee, bananas, curry, oranges.

Eat: Apricots, garlic, potatoes, limes, cherries.

Step 4Facial Analysis Diet TYPE C: Suffers water retention. Bloated face, puffiness
beneath the eyes, vertical line or groove under tip of nose, swollen ankles or
fingers, lack of concentration.

Avoid: Canned fruit, cheese, peanuts, red meat, soy sauce.

Eat: Broccoli, fresh fish, onions, pineapples, spinach.

Step 5Facial Analysis Diet TYPE D: Prone to inflammation. Greasy forehead, nose
and chin, large, open pores or very tight pores, sagging cheeks, horizontal lines
across the forehead, smelly feet.

Avoid: Alcohol, mayonnaise, pastry, shellfish, rice.

Eat: Asparagus, turnips, berries, carrots, millet.

Step 6Facial Analysis Diet TYPE E: Prone to skin complaints.

Avoid: Beer, eggs, raisins, strawberries, watermelon.

Eat: Butter, cabbage, parsley, apples, oats.

Step 7Facial Analysis Diet TYPE F: This type only applies to men and is ruled by the
prostate. Red forehead and top of ear, dark rings under the eyes, horizontal
crease above the top lip, furred tongue.

Avoid: Aubergine, blue cheese, red wine, vinegar, sweet potato.

Eat: Courgette, lentils, peach, watercress, grapefruit.


#3 Reese Witherspoon’s Baby Food Diet
I really like Reese, and I’d love to think she’s much smarter than this crazy diet,
but the evidence isn’t looking promising! Apparently, she’s been know to control
her calories and portions by eating jars of baby food. We all know that baby food is
nutritious…for babies, but let me tell you it isn’t nutritionally complete for adults.
If you are doing this diet you will need a multivitamin.

#4 Jennifer Lopez’s Grapefruit Oil “Diet”
Apparently Ms Lopez carries around a vial of grapefruit oil. Why? Well, the aroma
is supposed to affect your liver enzymes, activating the nerves, which cause fats
to be broken down and burnt off. This type of aroma therapy is great but not
always effective. The Hoodia pops are used with this type of diet...

#5 Kim Cattrall’s Fish Facelift Diet
I have to admit Kim looks great for her age, but I have a sneaky suspicion it’s more
to do with good genes, and a great plastic surgeon...than this crazy diet. The diet
not only promises weight-loss, it also promises a younger looking body. It’s based
on the theory that all health problems are caused by “inflammation,” so if salmon
is eaten three times a day, inflammation will be combated. I must say I do eat
salmon sushi everyday and people do tell me my skin is amazing. But, you will
need to exercise with a diet such as this one and of course the best supplement

#7 Beyonce’s Master Cleanse Diet
This is a very scary, and potentially dangerous diet. The cleanse involves drinking
only lemonade made from fresh lemon or lime juice, maple syrup, water and
Cayenne pepper. No solid foods are eaten for the entire cleanse, which lasts at
least 10 days.  Beyonce is reported to have dropped 20 pounds in two weeks on
this diet... because the diet is so severe most people gain the weight back and
fast causing yo yo effects...

#8 Kate Beckinsale’s Sundowner Diet
This diet is simply a re-packaging of the old lie that you shouldn’t eat after 6pm,
with the only rule being no carbs after the sun goes down! It’s said that high-
calorie foods eaten in the evening get stored up as fat. There’s no evidence for
this theory, it’s just a cleaver regurgitation of old news!
The Sundowner Diet

Slender Kate, 34, swears by this diet - the only rule is no carbs after the sun goes
down! The theory is, if you eat high-calorie foods in the evening you don't have
time to burn them off, so they're stored as fat.

Therefore, avoiding them post-sunset keeps you slim.

Health Risks Any diet that restricts carb intake can make you miss out on vital
nutrients and it can also lead to constipation.

Low carb levels can also lead to low energy levels.

Nugget Of Truth There is some evidence that eating most of your calories earlier
in the day means you'll burn more of them off.

Healthy Version Bridget says: "If you eat good carbs, like wholegrain bread,
there's no harm in eating them after sunset. Eat a large, healthy breakfast such as
beans on toast, juice and cereal; a medium-sized lunch like soup and a chicken
sandwich, and a small dinner, such as sardines on brown toast."


#9 Kylie Minogue’s Grapefruit Diet
I was a pretty big Kylie fan when I was younger, especially when she duetted with
Jason Donovan - oh the shame! Anyway, these days Kylie is said to keep her petite
figure by consuming half a grapefruit before all meals. The theory is that grapefruit
contains enzymes, which help speed up the bodies fat burning ability. There is,
however, little truth to this... The best thing about Grapefruit diet plan is that it
helps one to lose approximately 10 pounds in 12 days and that too without
controlling the appetite. The juice of the grapefruit encourages the fat burning
process. Along with the exercise, which is part of the Grapefruit diet plan, useful
results can be achieved...Very hot or very cold foods should not be taken.

Food should not be cooked in aluminum pans

The duration between protein meals and starch meals should be at least 4 hours.

Grapefruit Diet Breakfast Menu :

2 eggs boiled

2 slices of bacon

1/2 grapefruit or 8 oz. grapefruit juice without adding sugar

Grapefruit Diet Lunch Menu :

1/2 grapefruit or 8 oz. grapefruit juice without adding sugar

Salad

Any style meat in any amount.

Grapefruit Diet Dinner Menu :

1/2 grapefruit or 8 oz. grapefruit juice without adding sugar

Salad with or a red or green vegetable cooked in butter or spices.

Meat or Fish cooked any way.

Coffee or Tea (1 cup)

Bedtime Snack :

8 oz cup of skim milk.

The above plan will definitely suit you, but for a balanced diet that is really good
for health, it is important to select small servings from each of the following five
food groups to plan your daily menu:

Carbohydrates Fruits Vegetables Dairy Products Proteins
3-4 servings daily 4-6 servings daily 2-4 servings daily 1-2 servings daily 2
servings daily
Whole Grain Bagels, Corn Flakes, Low sugar cereals, Bran Muffins, Pasta, Rice,
Whole Grain Bread, and Potatoes.  Oranges, Papayas, Plums, Strawberries, Pears,
Apples, Melons, Grapefruit and Bananas.  Spinach, Peas, Corn, Salad, Cucumbers,
Carrots, Celery, Asparagus and Broccoli.  Cheese, Milk, Yogurt, and Cottage
Cheese.  Tuna without Mayonnaise, Crab, Lean Steak, Skinless Chicken, Fish,
Beans, Lentils and Eggs.
