People ask me everyday what was the strongest product that I have taken to lose weight the fastest. I took Prothinspo's
Hydroxylim/ Diet Slim...I chose this product because of two studies.... The first studied showed a more rapid and effective
weight loss than other diet products.This study set out to determine the efficacy of a calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA
extract from Garcinia cambogia alone and in combination with niacin-bound chromium and a standardized Gymnema Sylvestre
Extract on weight-loss parameters in human volunteers. I know blah blah, but  In a double-blind fashion,
60 moderately obese
individuals
were randomly assigned to three groups.
Group 1 received just calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia.
Group 2 received the Garcinia cambogia extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract.
Group 3 received a placebo. All subjects received a 2000 kcal/day diet, participated in supervised walking five times per week,
and took their assigned test supplements 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes before meals.
Test measurements were then performed throughout the study, evaluating changes in bodyweight, body mass index (BMI),
appetite, blood lipids, and markers of fat oxidation.
After 8 weeks,
Group 1 lost an average of 10 pounds, Group 2 lost 12.54 pounds, and the placebo group lost 3.53 pounds. At 8
weeks, both Group 1 and 2 were found to have lost significantly more weight than the placebo group. A reduction in appetite
was also demonstrated in both Group 1 and 2. In addition, both Group 1 and 2 showed a significant increase in indicators of fat
breakdown. It was concluded that supplementation with the combination of (-)– hydroxycitric acid (HCA-SX), niacin-bound
chromium, and Gymnema Sylvestre Extract can help people with weight management.

The next study was an 8 week study....In this 8-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human trial, 30 moderately
obese subjects were divided into three groups. Group 1 received just the calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from
Garcinia cambogia. Group 2 received Garcinia cambogia extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract.
Group 3 received a placebo. All subjects were placed on a 2000 kcal/day diet; ingested the assigned test supplements 3 times
daily, 30 to 60 minutes prior to meals; and participated in supervised walking five times per week. At the end of 8 weeks, Group
1 lost, on average, 12.1 pounds. Group 2 lost, on average, 14.99 pounds. Group 3 lost, on average, 3.06 pounds. At the end of
the study period, weight-loss values in both Group 1 and Group 2 were significantly greater than in the placebo group.
Moreover, the placebo group showed a slight increase in food consumption, while the HCA groups both showed a significant
reduction in appetite compared to placebo. Based on the results from this study, it was concluded that the unique HCA extract
used in this trial, either alone or in combination with Gymnema Sylvestre Extract and niacin-bound chromium, is effective in
helping control appetite, increase fat oxidation, and promote weight loss.

So many people just want to stop eating altogether. First of all, you should

So, I thought it was time to learn you all some things about calories.
Start at the basics; shortly, cause we already know that...Calories, also known as
Kcal, or KJ is the stuff in food that gives us energy. Kcal's contain out of carbs, fat,
and proteins. And these things are nessecary for your body to live, to make you
heart beat, blood flow, and keep your brains working so you don't forget to breath.

Ok, so we knew that already.
Then there's this myth, about 'Negative calories'.
This is about foods, that by saying,  contain this less kcal, or are so hard to digest,
that it costs your body more energy to process the food, than the food actually
contains.
Nothing about this is true. When food is hard to digest, it simply stays in you
stomach longer, and the acids do their work.

Whatever is a true fact about kcal, is that you can beat them. You can calculate who
many kcal you would burn by doing nothing with a smple calculation. That's the
energy your body needs to keep your organs working. I advise everyone to take at
least this amount of kcal everyday, to prevent serious health problems.
The formula to this number is; (your weight in kg) x 1 x 24 =.... For example, my
basic energy need is;
43 kg x 1 x 24 = 1032Kcal

This goes for people with BMI 25 or below. Above 25 you really need to go to a
doctor, and get professional help, because this is dangerous.

That amount of energy is what your body really needs, but actually, this is what your
body would live on when it was in a coma. So I higly recommend, or ask, to eat this
at least. For the best.

Anorexia (Ana)
Anorexia is characterized by a refusal to maintain a normal body weight. There are two types of Anorexia; Restricting and Purging.
Restricting:
The person does not eat, or eats very less. The person does not binge or purge in the episode.
Purging:
The person does not eat, or very less, but finds herself to be in a binge, and compensates by purging (vomiting, laxatives, diuretics)

Bulimia (Mia)
Bulimia is characterized by periods of binge eating, followed by inappropriate ways to loose the food, like vomiting, laxatives,
diuretics.
There are two types of Bulimia: Purging and Non Purging
Purging:
During the period of Bulimia, the person has regularly engaged self inducted vomiting, used laxatives, diuretics.
Non purging:
During current episode of Bulimia Nervosa, the person has used other inappropriate compensatory behaviors, such as fasting or
excessive exercise, but has not regularly engaged in self-induced vomiting or the misuse of laxatives, diuretics, or enemas.

Compulsive Overexercise or Anorexia
Persons who have episodes of repeatedly exercising beyond the requirements of what is considered safe, and will find time at
any cost to do the exercise (including cutting school, taking off from work, hiding in the bathroom and exercising, etc.). The main
goal of the exercise can be burning calories and "relieving the guilt" from just having eaten or binged, or to give us "permission"
to eat.


Binge Eating Disorder (BED)
Binge eating disorder (BED) is the newest clinically recognized eating disorder. BED is primarily identified by repeated episodes of
uncontrolled eating. The overeating or binging does not typically stop until the person is uncomfortably full. Unlike anorexia
nervosa and bulimia however, BED is not associated with inappropriate behaviors such as vomiting or excessive exercise to rid
the body of extra food. The illness usually begins in late adolescence or in the early 20s, often coming soon after significant weight
loss from dieting.


ED- NOS
When you don't really fit in the DSM criteria of Anorexia, Bulimia, BED, or COE, but you do have an eating disorder you may get
diagnosed ED-NOS.
In real life this can be like this:
- You fit all the criteria of anorexia, but you're not underweight (yet).
- You fit the criteria of anorexia for two months, and then switch over to bulimia for two months, to switch back to anorexia.
- When you don't fit one or two criteria, but there's obviously and eating disorder.


Pica
Pica is defined as a non-stop compulsive caring to eat non eatable things like cotton, paper, dirt, glass, ice...
It's used to fill the stomach, so you won't get hungry.
This is very dangerous, eating glass for example, speaks for itself.
Cotton, paper and stuff can not be digested, and will ruin your body!


Prader-Willi syndrome
Prader-Willi Syndrome is a congenital condition (present at birth) and is believed to be caused by an abnormality in the genes that
occurs (though statistically it does not seem to run in families). Children born with Prader-Willi Syndrome may have early feeding
difficulties that lead to tube feeding, and often have a degree of behavioral and/or mental problems (some severe).
Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)
BDD, or Body Dysmorphic Disorder is a preoccupation or obsession with a defect in visual appearance, whether that be an actual
slight imperfection or an imagined one. Some example of this would be obsessing to the point of severe depression (sometimes
including thoughts about or attempts at suicide) over physical attributes such as freckles, a large nose, blotchy skin, wrinkles,
acne, scarring. Though the preoccupation can include any part of the body; areas of the face and head, specifically the skin, hair

Orthorexia Nervosa Orthorexia Nervosa is an obsession with a "pure" diet, where it interferes with a person's life. It becomes a

the sufferer is constantly worried that they are too small. This goes beyond the typical body-building gym-goer, and transcends
into dangerous realms when men and women are willing to go to all lengths to increase muscle mass. Dr. Harrison Pope, of the
McLean Hospital, says, "there's nothing inherently pathological about being an avid gym-goer, but it shouldn't take over your life."
In likening Bigorexia to Anorexia he comments, "They are both disorders of body image, the preoccupations simply go in opposite
directions."

choice. Fact: Carbohydrate digestion starts in your mouth. Our salivary glands secrete
amylase, which is a digestive enzyme that begins the break down of carbs. Tip: Avoid eating
carbohydrates at the beginning of the meal, because you'll absorb more calories. Save the
carbs for desert. Fact: Fat is digested in the small intestines and therefore you feel fuller after
eating a high-fat meal. Tip: Eat the fat first because it takes a long time to digest, therefore
you'll absorbed less calories than eating carbs first. Beware, fat has twice as many kcals as
carbs and proteins. Fact: Laxatives do not affect calorie absorption. Most food and calories are
digested and absorbed in the small intestines and laxatives only affect the large intestines.
Yes, you'll lose weight, but the weight lost is from water and fecal matter. Tip: Only use
laxatives after a large meal that you did not purge afterwards, this way you'll see the real
amount of weight gained instead of the fecal matter gained.
